ART MEETS FITTINGS

With a spectacular appearance at ISH 2025, Steinberg impressively demonstrated how trade fairs can be conceived today: not as a mere product presentation, but as an aesthetic statement. Several polyresin tubs dramatically staged by light, an oversized AI-generated portrait in the style of Dutch Baroque painting, and a peacock motif in a colonial jungle style – this interplay of art, technology, and design magically attracted visitors.

"For us, a trade fair presence is more than a presentation—it's a statement," explains Daniela Wagner, Marketing Director at Steinberg. "Our presentation reflected our passion for flawless design and innovative materials—in a way that touches, surprises, and inspires."

The design went far beyond pure product design. An oversized, AI-generated portrait of a young woman – inspired by 17th-century Dutch portraiture – lent the space a quiet, almost poetic depth. The presentation of the polyresin tubs fit seamlessly into this tranquil visual world: Backlit by large-scale LED walls in precise white light, the colored pigments in the surface unfolded their full radiance. The light made them literally glow – an effect that gave the objects an almost sculptural presence.

"Our design concept deliberately avoided superfluous elements," says Daniela Wagner. "The art of reduction was our guiding principle. Every element had a clear function – nothing distracted. This allowed us to convey the essence of our brand: an uncompromising combination of functionality and beauty.

Presentation cubes made of green Verde Alpi marble added special accents. Their natural grain created a fascinating dialogue with the design series in Steinberg's surface finishes – including the new Brushed Gold, Brushed Gun Metal, and Brushed Copper. The interplay of light, material, and color lent the space an atmosphere of timeless elegance.

The booth itself was a manifesto of cultivated elegance—a stage on which the products could unfold like works of art. The result was a presence that went far beyond a traditional trade fair presentation: a gallery of bathroom design, a moment of art amidst the vibrant hustle and bustle of the trade fair. A place where visitors paused, marveled, and took photographs.

With this presentation, Steinberg set a clear example for the future of the bathroom: minimalist, avant-garde, luxurious – and unmistakably Steinberg.
